Crucial Kaka set to upset Scolari Express in Topaz Open Unraced 525 Final
Crucial Kaka will be looking to cause some problems for Scolari Express in the Topaz Open Unraced 525 Final at Shelbourne Park in Ireland on Saturday, October 6, 2012. Both of them are very young and full of energy. They do not have a lot of experience, but are loaded with immense talent.
Therefore, the competition in the Grade OR event will be a close one and the winner will walk away with a cash prize of ?1000 in the end. There are some other talented greyhounds attracted towards the 525 yard event as well, but they do not seem to have a very good chance of fighting for a victory.
Scolari Express has been given a starting price of 6 to 4 by the bookmakers, as he was really impressive in the only race of his career. The punters will definitely be placing a lot of bets on him, as they have a solid chance of winning some easy money at the end of the day.
However, the young hound will be entering the race from trap number five, which is not a very good position. Luckily for him, the race distance to cover is not a short one and the start will not be much important. He will still need to gain some momentum in order to get an advantage towards the end of the competition.
The P. Buckley?s trainee started off his career in June this year and focussed more on training sessions at the start. He moved to Shelbourne Park in September and did a solo run over 525 yards in order to familiarise with the conditions. Once he was ready, he appeared in a Grade OR event, which proved to be a very good one for him.
The blue dog was not rated as the favourite to succeed back then, but he stormed to the top by four lengths. A repeat of that show will definitely see him finish ahead of the others in the end.
However, Crucial Kaka will also be looking to make a name for himself. He too has appeared in just one race in this class and was victorious in it. The competition for him was not a very tough one though and he will have to make an improvement in order to challenge the favourite greyhound.?
