As Kate Middleton settles into her new life as the Duchess of Cambridge, she's officially saying goodbye to her childhood digs.

The Middleton family home that Kate, her sister Pippa and their brother James grew up in is on the market in South Bradfield, Berkshire England.

Carrying a pricetag of ?495,000 ($804,573 in U.S. funds), the late Victorian four-bedroom property is up for sale by public auction.

Kate, now 29, lived in the home until age 13 and started off in the bigger first floor bedroom before moving downstairs when her siblings were born. The family also ran their successful party planning business, Party Pieces, from offices in the property's garden.

The newlywed -- who honeymooned with Prince William on the ultra-private Seychelles island -- appears to be settling in just fine to her life as a royal wife in Anglesey, Wales.

Although the happy couple technically have a new surname -- Cambridge -- they have private names for one another at home.

"For day-to-day life, they are the Cambridges," a source tells Us Weekly of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. "But behind closed doors they are calling each other Mr and Mrs Wales. It's cute."

Adds a guest of the pair's posh April 29 nuptials: "They'll be a very low-key couple. They want to be very down to earth."
