COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - ?There's an old clich? that many business deals are done on the golf course, and Friday, people in Columbus County took advantage of that saying and the sport.
More than 100 golfers participated in the Annual Industrial Golf Tournament, most of whom were business owners.
Organizers say the event gives people the opportunity to network. It's also a fundraiser for the Greater Whiteville Chamber of Commerce.?
Organizers hope the event will raise more than $8,000.
