Sure, this week?s Wyndham Championship isn?t a major, but there is certainly a lot on the line for the 156 players in the field.
The Wyndham Championship represents the final regular season event of the 2013 PGA Tour season and the final chance for players to qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs, which kick off next week. Players will also be vying to move up the rankings to lock in a 2014 Tour Card and hopefully put an exclamation point on their 2013 campaigns.
So, among the field of 156 players at Sedgefield Country Club this week, 100 will put their trust in a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball. That?s more than 4 times the nearest competitor with 23 and more than all other competitors combined.
Titleist was also the top choice of players in the sand, lob and approach wedge (156) and putter (61) category.
