LifeBridge Health & Fitness to Redesign Fitness Floor and KidZone

I am pleased to finally be able to unveil LifeBridge Health & Fitness? new plan for the redesign of the Fitness?Floor and KidZone! In the coming days and weeks, you will see the evolution of this nearly $200,000?improvement, and I am excited to finally be able to reveal some details.

So that you, our valued members, have a basic idea of what to expect in terms of new equipment and time-lines,
the following is a brief description of what?s to come:LBHF-Exterior3

  • To improve the quality of our Fitness Floor, while also creating space for a massive KidZone expansion,?the Free-Weight Area will move upstairs into a more properly equipped and designed fitness floor while?KidZone will move into the current Free Weight space. Because of a more efficient and appropriate?equipment inventory, every space that is being relocated will inhabit a larger space than it is currently?occupying!
  • Step 1 is the upstairs work needed to facilitate the new design and equipment
  • Step 2 is the flooring work to be done upstairs and bringing some (not all) of the new equipment and the?things from downstairs that are coming upstairs into the new areas while removing all equipment that is?leaving the club
  • Step 3 is the construction of the new KidZone
  • Step 4 will mark the arrival of the rest of the new equipment and project-completion

The Equipment arriving is a compiled from only the best vendors like TechnoGym (the world?s foremost?leader in fitness-equipment research and development):

  • 3 TechnoGym VARIO cardio machines
  • 1 TechnoGym Kinesis 1 System
  • 2 TechnoGym Flexibility & rehabilitative machines
  • 6 TechnoGym PURE strength machines
  • 1 TechnoGym Upper Body cardio machine 1 Smith Machine
  • 1 Nautilus Stepmill 1 Magnum multi-station cable jungle
  • 4 Cybex ARC Trainers Various KidZone games, amenities, equipment

From a membership experience standpoint, I understand that your first concern will be ?How will this affect my membership?? ? Will the club close totally for a time? Will certain areas be unusable for a time? Will my membership cost go up?

NO! Your membership rates will not be affected. This is an investment to improve the quality of our products, facilities, and services to continue to provide Maryland?s premiere health club experience.?For most of the process, the club will remain completely open and unhindered as much of the work will?be done after hours (every effort will be made to limit noise and dust).

However, as heavy equipment will be in motion throughout the club when the second step of moving the?downstairs up and major flooring work is done, the club will most likely have to close in full for 1?weekend day. This date is undetermined but members will have plenty of notice. No other department or?area closings are expected.

I am truly and very excited about the new equipment, but especially the new layout/design. As a father, I also?cannot wait to get the new KidZone programming up and running in the amazing new room (more detail and info?to follow on that, but I?ll tell you that what we?re planning is very special). If you have any further questions or?concerns, please feel free to reach out to me in any way.
